Summertime with HORSES
Summer time is always a fun time though it can be even more memorable with a week long summer camp that includes HORSES and PONIES!!
Horsemanship and Riding Camp
We are offering 3 camp weeks for riders of all levels from the ages of 8 to 17 this year. These weeks will be Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm for full day or choose half day camp hours of 9am to 12 noon. There will be early drop off or late pick up options available. Camp cost is $400.00 per camper for full day and $250.00 for half day camp (10% discount for each additional sibling). Payment schedule is as follows: $100.00 at time of registration, $100.00 due 8 weeks before camp date, balance due 14 days before the first day of camp. Payments/cost are non-refundable unless your campers spot can be filled off of waitlist. For medical reasons, supported by a treating physician letter, full refund minus 15% office fee will be given.

Minimum of 7 campers are needed to fill each week. If a week does not fill all deposits will be returned in full. Campers do not need to be experienced with horses though they must be comfortable being around them.
Each day is filled with horses and all the activities that go along with having and riding horses! Activities include unmounted time learning about tack, grooming, parts of the horse, stall care, farm care, ring set ups, different feeds and other equine related knowledge. Riding portions will focus on safety and learning various gaits, movements and jumping for those who are ready for over fences. Campers may ride in groups and get individual one on one time with instructor. This can vary depending on the age and level of campers each week.
Farm provides campers with unlimited water, helmets (if camper has their own it is encouraged they use that one), gear for the horses/ponies, supplies, snacks each day and a pizza party on Friday for lunch. Campers supply a packed lunch for each day, except Friday. Approximately two weeks before your camp week you will receive an email with a tentative outline of the week and a complete list of what your camper will need for the week. Generally though each camper will need the following; boots with rubber heel for riding, sneakers, pants/breeches for riding, shorts for the really warm days when not in the saddle, short sleeve or sun shirts, sunscreen and anything else he/she will like for comfort. Any camper who will would like to bring their own horse/pony is welcomed to do so. All equines would need proof of all vaccinations and current negative coggins. Day paddocks will be available at $25/day or $100 per week. Day paddocks with overnight stalls is $40/each day and night or $180 for the week (bedding included).
